Different shades and tones of red are dominant in my work. At first, this is visceral. Simply a physical investigation, as in blood reds, etc. From my earliest childhood thinking, I imagined the inside of the body as red. As I search further, I am attracted to the more spiritual aspects of red. Along with the draftsmanship of the images, red is an important element of my pictorial statement.
